The Founder and CTO
Alfred Piggott is the Founder and Chief Technical Officer (CTO) of Applied Thermoelectric Solutions LLC, with over 30 years of experience in thermoelectrics, thermal management, energy conversion, and other industries. He holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and has extensive experience in product design, development, and R&D. Alfred has patented over 16 groundbreaking systems in thermoelectric cooling, battery thermal management, and energy harvesting. His research has been published in leading scientific journals, earning him the Editor’s Choice award from the Journal of Electronic Materials. Alfred has presented at international thermoelectrics conferences, served as a judge for the NASA Tech Briefs Create the Future contest, and continues to drive innovation in high-performance thermal solutions.
